Naima is an aspiring model from Alabama. She had always been told that she should get into modeling and never knew where to start. She decided to start taking it seriously this year and she actually enjoyed it a lot. She’s learning along the way the ins and outs of what it takes to be in this industry. How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

I’m grateful for this opportunity. I’ve been praying for God to open doors for me to further my purpose, my desires and I’m glad you reached out! It feels amazing thank you!

What made you become a model?

Wanting to represent for beautiful dark-skinned women, because I feel we are overlooked in the industry.

What does modeling mean to you?

It’s a way to express creativity. It’s more than being a pretty face, it’s about being the whole package and I strive to bring something different to the table!

Lingerie or Nude shoot?

I’m such a reserved person, but if I have to choose one lingerie, lol.

What do you think you look the sexiest in?

Bright colors, because I feel it brings out my skin.

How often do you exercise or go to the gym?

Not as much as I should, but I’m trying to do better.

If you had to have a intro song, what would it be and why?

I’ve never thought about that but, probably “More than I can bear” by Kirk Franklin. Due to the fact that God always brings me out on top through all my trials and tribulations. I know I’m destined for greatness, because I have him by my side always.

What song makes you get up and dance every single time?

Anything Nicki Minaj, because she is just that amazing.

Where are some unusual places you’ve been?

I haven’t been anywhere unusual yet, but I do hope to take a vacation to the islands like Jamaica or St. Thomas in the near future.

Name something stupid that couples argue over?

When you live together most definitely who’s responsible for what chores around the house.

What would be the scariest place to get lost at?

New York!!! I’m such a small town girl.

What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?

I’m such a horrible driver, so attempting to text and drive or do anything other than focus on the road really isn’t the best choice, lol.
