When did you start making music?

I started singing in church growing up. I got really into Jodeci and those soulful types from the 90’s and started officially recording in my 20’s.

How would you describe your musical style?

I’d describe my musical style as R&B soul mixed with a “Trap” side from time to time.

Artist you would like to do a song with?

If I had to do music with anybody it would be Usher, Chris Brown and Beyoncé. I would most definitely have to collaborate with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. I love them all so much, now that tour would be crazy!

How do you feel about the internet in the music business?

It has truly been a blessing, because of platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and Facebook. Independent artist like myself have a leg up on getting content out, without having to sign to a label. Content becomes instant gratification to fans and that’s a plus for me.

Any upcoming projects coming up that you would like to share with readers?

I had been planning a tour, but due to COVID-19 things have been pushed back. Hopefully In October we can get some dates set, Atlanta could be the first show. Sign up for my mailing list to stay updated with shows and tour information.

What’s your favorite decade and why?

I’m a 90s lover! The music made you feel something and soul music was dominating the music scene at the time.

What three places would you love to travel to?

I’d have to say the motherland Africa then Thailand and Alaska.

What would your friends and family be surprised to know about you?

My friends would say that I’m an open book, I’ve always been open with my friends and family.

What role does family play in your life?

The biggest! My family is everything to me, they are my motivation to continue striving for greatness.

What is the one book or movie that made you change your point of view on a subject?

Honestly, the bible. The more I read the Bible, the more clarity I have on the life I’m living and my destiny.

After having endured this pandemic, what are things you want to change in your life?

I want to put myself in a position to help others, so we all can experience a better life.
