Iannah Neish was born in Schenectady, New York and was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She attends Clayton State University and Psychology is her major. Her hobbies include going to school, modeling and operating her own lash line LashesByNana. She has been modeling since 2017.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

It’s an honor to be recognized and I’m more than thankful for the opportunity.

What was the first job you ever booked as a model?

I believe it was a black history shoot when I first signed to TRE (The Royal Empresses).

What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself?

I would say my favorite attribute would have to be that I am very ambitious and responsible.

What has been your favorite shoot / campaign / work to date?

My favorite shoot would have to be a culture shoot that i did with @builtbyjbstudios ( on Instagram).  It was my favorite, because it captured me as a real African Queen.  It was just beautiful.

What are your modeling goals for 2020?

They would consist of getting more bookings and trying to actually brand myself.  Determining the look I want to go for and also working with more photographers.  I would like to be recognized for what I do, eventually model for clothing brands and magazines.

If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done?

They probably would assume I’ve done something insane like probably killed someone! lol who knows I’m really full of surprises.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would go to Bora Bora.  It’s just beautiful and I would love to see the beautiful blue waters and be at peace.

Which insecurity would shock people if they knew about it?

Sometimes I don’t feel “pretty”.  Sometimes my self esteem gets in the way.  I’ve been told all the time that I’m beautiful and loved.  But I sometimes doubt it, because of little things like the bags under my eyes, my body or skin tone.  Compared to what I see the definition of beauty is on social media.

What qualities do you want in your life partner?

Loving, kind, forgiving, understanding, trustworthy all the good qualities.  Most importantly he doesn’t have to be perfect, just worth it.

What is one thing that brings a smile to your face, no matter the time of day?

The reassurance of knowing that I’m loved, beautiful and everything is going to be okay.
