Karmelita Prado was in born Lima, Peru.  She is currently living in Virginia Beach.  Her hobbies are dancing, traveling, paint nights, meditating, wine tasting, ladies night, walks on the beach and spending quality time with her son and extend family and friends.  She is also a foodie and love finding different mom and pop restaurants to enjoy.  She likes  spending time with her fur babies Tutsie, Romeo and Chup Chup (teacup yorkies).

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abner’s Angels?

I consider myself as a brand and business, but I’m extremely pleased to have been selected to work with Abners Angels.  Working with Abner will provide a platform for reaching the masses and helping more people.

What made you become a model?

After going to through a tumultuous relationship and breakup, I needed to prove to myself that I was beautiful and worthy inside and out.  I set out to achieve my goal.  Through this, I plan to set an example for women everywhere.  We are all beautiful, beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, and walks of life.  I want women to be proud of themselves despite the circumstances they may find themselves in.

What is your most memorable modeling moment?

As I’m reasonably new to this industry, all of my moments have been both fun and memorable.

What are some of the perks working as a model?

Networking and getting to know other artists.  I hope to one day use this platform to further causes that are dear to my heart.  My passion is to work with disenfranchised youth in impoverished or third world countries.  I want to be able to supply them with food, shelter, clothing and quality education.  Working as a model will afford me the opportunity to travel and work with these children.

What is your favorite physical attribute about yourself?

I love all my curves !!! I love that being fuller figure shows women they can do anything despite the odds.  I love my body.  I honor myself and other women around the world as I do this work.

Is modeling an easy job or more strenuous than people realize?

My experience has been fun.  I work with a wonderful team of experts that are very supportive.  All of my ventures today have been outstanding ones, they make it easy.

Which insecurity would shock people if they knew about it?

The biggest insecurity that I’ve dealt with is not feeling beautiful or worthy enough of someone’s else’s love.  In previous relationships I’ve been made to feel less than and I allowed it.  I have since combatted this and come out on the other side.

What’s one thing that’s happened to you that has made you a stronger person?

Becoming an entrepreneur has made stronger.  I own a trucking and logistics company, it has given me so many gifts.  It has tested me beyond my limits.  It’s exposed me to different people.  It has taught me many life lessons.  I’m still learning, growing and getting stronger everyday.

What’s one thing you’re scared to ask a man, but really want to?

I would like to know, why men get a good woman and treat them like trash.

What is something you’ve never done that you’ve always wanted to do?

I’ve always wanted to go skydiving.  I’m scared of heights, but I think that would be the ultimate thrill.  I love the adrenaline rush.

What is one thing you feel your life is missing?

True love from a mate that is intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally a vibrational match for me.
