Working Woman Wednesday. Interview With IFITTMOM Creator/Owner.

Lynette Stinson the founder of IFITTMOM created her company in 2016, because of her love for fitness.  Lynette is a fitness enthusiast, a entrepreneur and a mother.  Her ultimate goal is to encourage women to embrace fitness, career and motherhood.  The birth of her daughter and running into complication during her pregnancy didn’t allow her to keep up with her fit lifestyle.  After her weight gain, she struggled to get back to her fit lifestyle.  Which fueled her passion to help other women who struggle with the same thing.

What inspired you to become a personal trainer and fitness coach?

I’ve always loved fitness and I’ve always had a fit lifestyle.  When I was pregnant with my daughter I had complications and wasn’t able to keep up with my fit lifestyle.  I was hospitalized and on bed rest for three months.  During that time I was taking weekly steroid shots and my doctors kept telling me I had to eat more.  Long story shot I gained so much weight I was 211 pounds.  I was blessed with a beautiful daughter and left with all the weight.  I worked my butt off to get back in shape, it was hard and stressful even with my fitness background.  So I start thinking if I’m going through this I know other moms are battling with the weight left after motherhood.  I decided to create IFittMom a fitness community for moms.

What is the best exercise for fast results?

That’s kind of a trick question, fast results are unrealistic in fitness.  But I think running is a great exercise to get results.

How many hours a week would you suggest a person work out and do you have to work out to lose weight?

I would suggest 30 minutes a day at least three days a week to get results.  No you don’t have to workout to lose weight, you’re diet is most important part to losing weight.
