When did you realize you wanted to become a photographer and was there any photographer who work influenced you the most?
At the age of nine after my mothers death, this is all I have ever known.
What are the biggest challenges you face on a daily basis being a photographer?
Getting paid for your craft, trying to compete even when you are not. Even though you do this craft, because you love it. It will and always has been someone that wants to out do you. Even be better, the hard part is just thinking about you and your craft. Just keep moving no matter what.
What is your favorite photograph and why?
I don’t think I have a favorite, I love all of them for different reasons. One could be the lighting, another could be the pose. Could be the clients, too many factors.
What would be your dream shoot?
To shoot a well-known model or artist and have my work shared all over .
What’s the shoot you are most proud of?
I don’t think I have shot it yet…still waiting on it to happen.
What is your biggest accomplishment in your field of work?
Don’t think I’ve had it yet, that is why I keep pushing for greatness now.
What are the pros and cons of being a photographer?
Pros- You get to do what you love. Cons- Free work, time away from family, not always getting to do the type of shoots you wish to do and much more.
What is your most treasured memory?
Every day I walk in my house to my kids.
If you could go back and pick a different profession, what would you choose?
No need in going back, you don’t choose your gifts. They already meant for you.
Who in your life do you admire the most?
MY MOTHER, because I never really got the chance to know her.
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
Just one, PROVIDE FOR MY FAMILY AND KIDS.
