Tell us how did your modeling career start?
My modeling career started 10 years ago, but obstacles financially or family related issues put my progression on pause. I am now pressing play. I’ve had boutique agencies in the past, but now I am ready to actively put my goals into motion.
Was there anyone that influenced you to become a model?
My aunt Nikki has always been my biggest influence. She taught me how to walk when I was little, I’d follow her around and imitate her. I wanted to be just like her when I grew up. I still do.
Do you ever get shy in front of the camera?
I am never camera shy. I love shooting and making love to the camera. It’s my release.
What has been your favorite shoot / campaign / work to date?
My favorite brand to work for right now is Planet Vintage. My friend Tanya owns this shop and I was inspired. I went to her, asked to collaborate and we create art. I love vintage clothing. It sets me apart.
What attracted you to begin a career as an actress?
I became interested in acting, because every agency would be interested in me for commercials. So, I tried acting classes, I loved it ever since!
Who is your favorite actor/actress, and why?
Favorite actress is Halle Berry. Our ultimate “it” girl because I plan to fill her shoes.
Who is your celebrity crush?
My celebrity crush is Jidenna. He’s creating his own wave and the King shines bright. He’s definitely on my vision board to create with. From his fashion to his intellect, he’s definitely out here planting seeds of light. Yeah, I like him A LOT. He’s a beautiful man inside and out.
Tell us about your Drop Poetry “Goddess of Love” that you wrote?
Goddess of Love is a self-explanation of who I am. I didn’t find myself I just remembered who I am when I “woke” all the way up spiritually. I have great power and I plan to spread love over the world until it’s Heaven on Earth. That is my purpose, this is my journey.
How long have you been writing poetry and any other poems you have published?
I have been writing poetry my entire life. It is me, I am poetry. I am in the process of getting a book published. Once I’m done writing it, then I will do a book of quotes. An audio book as well.
What’s a typical day like for you being a mental health advocate/counselor?
A typical day for me at work as a mental health advocate is taking calls, counseling people addicted to drugs and leading them on the road to detox and recovery.
What’s the pros/cons of that job?
The pros I am able to see the growth with a person going from drug addictions to clean and on a new start in life. Knowing that I helped guide them fills my heart with joy, every moment counts. I’m grateful to work, but I’m preparing to leave this phase of 9-5 and work for myself by creating all of the time. I desire to be a full-time entertainer. The cons, because I feel trapped in a box all day. My energy is not being utilized correctly.
