Who or what inspired you to become an actress…

I have always loved the art of acting. From watching Denzel to Angela Bassett. Their ability to bring layers to characters and texture to a film had me in amazement. I want the audience to feel the character and relate to whom I am portraying. Not exactly like them, but using the craft in the same way.

The most challenging part of bringing a script to life is…

Being able to convey some of the emotions needed for the scene. Some emotions may require to dig up pain to relate to the script. Sometimes that requires me to rip a bandage off a healed over issue.

The most challenging aspect of being an actress is…

Timing, sometimes I may be overbooked and have to really focus on bringing the best of me to a script. Staying flexible is hard, because I never want to miss an opportunity to bring my best to every character.

Fences.
