Running Back Lamagea McDowell rushed for two touchdowns in the 4^th Quarter to help Prairie View put away Florida A&M 31-12.  Prairie View Quarterback Jaden Johnson passed for 193 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.  Wide Receiver James Burns had 5 catches for 117 yards and 1 touchdown.  Running Back Chase Bingmon led Prairie View with 68 rushing and Cornerback Freddie Byrd III returned a interception for a 35-yard touchdown.

FAMU Quarterback Daniel Richardson passed for 58 yards before leaving the game with a concussion. FAMU Backup Quarterback Junior Muratovic passed for 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. Running Back Levontai Summersett had 9 carries for 87 yards with an impressive 9.7 yards a carry. Wide Receiver Goldie Lawrence led the Rattlers with 65 yards receiving and Wide Receiver Jamari Gassett scored the Rattlers only touchdown on a 7-yard pass from Muratovic. The Panthers improve to 5-5 and the Rattlers drop to 5-4.

It’s been a rough season for the Rattlers this year after going 12-1 last season. Losing this game, will probably cost FAMU their chance of playing in the SWAC championship game.
