Cincinnati Bearcats Defense Helps Them Defeat UCF Knights 19-13

The Cincinnati Bearcats held off the UCF Knights and sacked Quarterback Jacurri Brown on the last play of the game.  Bearcats Quarterback Brendan Sorsby threw for 241 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions and 1 rushing touchdown.  Running Back Corey Kiner had 17 carries for 83 yards. Bearcats Tight End Joe Royer had 8 catches for a team-high 84 yards and Wide Receiver Tony Johnson had 8 catches for 76yards and 1 touchdown.  The Bearcats defense sacked Brown four times.

UCF starting Quarterback KJ Jefferson was benched, UCF started Freshman Quarterback E.J. Colson that completed 1 out of 4 passes for minus -6 yards.  Colson was benched for Brown, Brown threw for 207 yards and 1 touchdown. Running back RJ Harvey rushed for 94 yards and Brown had 84 yards rushing. Wide Receiver Kobe Hudson had 7 catches for 114 yards and 1 touchdown.

Brown had a good game, made some key passing plays and running plays for UCF.  The Knights have lost three in a row after winning their first three games of the season.
