Abners Angels Presents Interview With Model “Anigea K”

Anigea Knight is originally from Norfolk, Virginia and is a full-time student at Kennesaw State University. She decided that school would be her main objective, while she also tries to build her modeling portfolio. She has been an extra for several Marvel and Netflix productions, as well as having a starring role in an independent film set to premiere in early February.

How does it feel to be selected as one of the Abners Angels?

I was actually very surprised when the opportunity was presented to me and I’m honored to be able to share a bit about myself with you guys.

What inspired you to become a model?

I have always been told that I’m photogenic, so modeling was something that I just sort of ran with.  Something about being in front of a camera makes me feel like my most authentic self.

What are some of the perks working as a model?

Being able to meet different photographers and see their process.  You end up learning more about not just modeling, but also what translates well on camera.

Lingerie or Swimsuit shoot?

What do you think the sexiest part of your body is?

Definitely my lips. I also really like my collarbones.

How many times have you been published?

No publications as of yet.

Lake house or beach house?

Lake house, because there will be more trees.

Android or Apple?

What’s the oldest thing you own?

My Winnie the Pooh bear I was given when I was two.

What’s the dumbest thing you got in trouble for in school?

I got an email sent to my mom, because I didn’t talk in class.

What is the best album you have ever heard?

The first thought that popped into my mind was Ctrl by Sza.  She read me like a book with that album.  The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is also up there.

What did you learn from your last mistake?

That nobody ever truly owes you anything in this world.  If you expect somebody to do right by you just off principle, then you will probably be waiting a long time.

What are you looking forward to this year?

More opportunities to do what I love and to be around my family more.

How can everyone keep in contact with you on social media?

Anything even remotely interesting that I’m doing will usually be posted on my Instagram @anigeak.  That is also where I take inquiries.
